02: Overview

The Overview describes the basis for this book (as a technical report for the 2013 National Climate Assessment); explains the methods, goals, and background for the regional assessment; introduces the team of authors, editors, and sponsors who contributed to the assessment; and depicts the process and timeline followed to draft, review, synthesize, and complete the document.
