How will the Tucson region be affected by climate change? What are you most concerned about? Come hear from the experts and get some answers! The newly released Assessment of Climate Change in the Southwest United States (published by Island Press) is the most comprehensive synthesis ever of regional climate change, projected impacts, and solutions for society. This event, coinciding with the release of the book, will open the door to a storehouse of information about how the greatest challenge to the Southwest’s water and natural resources will affect Tucson and the vast region stretching from Colorado and New Mexico to the Pacific.

Local and regional experts—a few of the hundreds of authors of the book—will provide a brief overview of key findings from the Assessment. This will be followed by a generously long question-and-answer session. It’s your chance to hear it straight from the experts, so bring your burning questions about this scorching issue.
